Pablo Vargas Lugo

Mexico

(Mexico, 1968), studied Visual Arts at the UNAM. His work has been exhibited in over 80 expositions, both collective and individual, in Mexico, USA, Spain, Switzerland, Canada, India, Sweden, Brazil, Italy, South Korea, and others. Among his individual exhibitions are: Eclipses for Austin, Blanton Museum of Art, Austin, Texas (2009); Contemporary Projects, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Los Angeles, EUA (2005); and Congo Bravo, Museo Carrillo Gil, Mexico City (1998). He has also participated in the 26th São Paolo Biennale (2004) and the 5th Porto Alegre Biennale (2005), and his work has been presented within the frame of collective exhibitions at institutions such as the Hammer Museum of Art, the Museo de Arte Lationamericano de Buenos Aires, PS1 in New York, and the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (MNCARS), and many others. He works and lives in Lima, Peru.
