Martha Rosler

Received her MFA from the University of California, San Diego. Her work includes video, installations, performance, collage and photo-montage and her ample artistic trajectory is united with theoretical writings on art and culture. Her most distinguished publications include Passionate Signals (Hatje Cantz, 2005), Decoys and Disruptions: Selected Writings 1975-2001 (MIT Press, 2004) and Positions in the Life World (MIT Press, 1998). Her work has been shown at the Venice, Liverpool, Whitney Museum and Taipei Biennials, as well as at Documenta. She has participated in numerous solo and group shows and has been published in magazines and journals such as Artforum, NU Magazine and Afterimage. She currently teaches at the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University in New Jersey.
