He is an art critic and independent curator. He has published in newspapers like La Industria y El Comercio, as well as essays in books and journals. He is the author of Accionismo en el Perú (1965-2000). Rastros y fuentes para una primera cronología (ICPNA, 2006). Among the exhibitions that he has curated, the following are worth mentioning: “Accionismo en el Perú, 1965-2000”, (ICPNA, January 2006), “Jorge Eielson. Teknoquímica 2004” ICPNA, March 2005) and “Juan Javier Salazar. Super-visiones: antes-durante-después. 1978-2006” (Galería Pancho Fierro, March 2006). In the last years, together with the art critic and photographer Miguel López López, he has started a series of studies about the non-objectual art scene in Peru from the mid Sixties. They have curated the following exhibitions: “La persistencia de lo efímero. Orígenes del no-objetualismo peruano: happenings / ambientaciones / arte conceptual (1996-1975)”, (Centro Cultural de España-Lima, Marck 2007) y “Arte Nuevo y la vanguardia” (Municipalidad de Miraflores, December 2007). He is a member of the Network of Researchers of Conceptualism in Latin America.
